DIY Portable Workshop Table

Our next door neighbor is getting his workshop set up, and he has enlisted Stephen for some help with it. The first thing he asked Stephen to build for him was a portable (rolling) workshop table. He wanted it to be about 3′ x 6′, two levels, with wheels and laminate on top. I gotContinue reading “DIY Portable Workshop Table”

Laundry Room Board & Batten

Continuing along with my sister’s mud area, the next thing I’ll talk about is the top shelf that we built. She wanted a shelf that could hold baskets, so it would be high, but not too high that it was unreachable. We went to Home Depot to look for wooden shelf holders, and we foundContinue reading “DIY Shelf + Shelf Holders”

DIY Mud Room Area

My sister and brother-in-law have a big space that combines several “rooms” into one… there’s the laundry room, their pantry, and a serving/bar area all together. There is a gap in the wall, between where the dryer is and where their pull-down ironing board is, that she had wanted to build a mud area. ItContinue reading “DIY Mud Room Area”

DIY Wooden Window Valance

Hammertime is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our blog, we may earn commissions. I found a CUTE idea on Pinterest several months ago that I saved for me to remember to do in the future. Here was my inspiration: The problem was… it was just a picture! No directions, tips, etc. So IContinue reading “DIY Wooden Window Valance”
