My family has a very (!!) rustic mountain cabin in South Carolina, near the North Carolina border. The original part of the house is from the 1940s. My parents added on an amazing addition a little while back, but the original part definitely needs some TLC. My family and my brother’s family are starting to try to update the cabin- make it more usable, improve things, fix broken things, etc. I am stoked because it will give me a lot of projects to blog about! 😂

We are trying to do everything on a budget. Some things are what they are (like new appliances), but some of the updates are basic updates with stuff we might have on hand!
