The one good thing about the original paint we had in our house was that it was a very (very) light gray, so it kept our house feeling bright and light. I loved the feel of it, and wanted to keep that light look. However, I did want a little more of a contrast between the wall color and the white trim. Finding a light color that was dark enough to show off the white trim seemed like a challenge… that is, until I came across SW Repose Gray.

I LOVE IT! We used this paint on all of the main walls (mud room, TV room, foyer, stairs, and upstairs loft/hallway). It is slightly darker than our original paint, but overall is still very light.

Here are some before and after pictures!

As you can see, it’s a very subtle difference overall, but you can see a big difference in the paint color vs. the trim! I highly recommend this shade if you’re wanting to keep your walls light.
