We recently had an order for a set of end tables and a matching coffee table from a family (one we didn’t know, they found us on Facebook). They wanted the tops of the tables stained dark brown, the bottoms painted white, and they had specific dimensions they wanted for the tables.
Stephen worked to build them- they were the same designs we have made before (here and here), just with additional boards to make them slightly bigger. The lady asked if we could put on extra polyurethane to protect the tables from her 3 year-old child, which we did. Just a normal, pleasant transaction.
The cool thing was that this lady posted pics on Facebook (and tagged Stephen) with the tables in her house! It was so very cool to see them in place in a different house. Check them out!
Usually once we deliver the furniture, that’s the last time we see it! It was very cool of this family to share the pieces in their space.
