When our house was built, the stairs leading from the garage into our mudroom were left as plain plywood and wood. I mean, they’re in the garage where we trek in and out of multiple times a day, so they’re fine. Right?

Nah! I decided to make them “fancy stairs” by staining the horizontal pieces brown and painting the vertical ones white! If you look up close, the white painted plywood is still really rough looking… but overall, I think they look pretty cool!

This is a super cheap, super quick and easy project that makes a huge difference!
