I painted another piece of my veneer wood bedroom furniture. If you recall, I’ve painted other pieces of our dark master bedroom furniture a lighter color (here and here).

For this dresser, I decided to go with white paint. The paint I used was paint + primer, so I didn’t do any prep work (no sanding, no priming… just dusting!).

This was more of a painful process than my latest project where I painted the dresser green, as it took a total of 5 COATS! My full quart of paint was almost gone by the end of it. Thankfully, I was able to finish it up and I really enjoy the lighter look.

I put a layer of polyurethane on the top, for extra protection:
