Painting an Interior Door (and its Trim!)

I have fallen in love with the color Oyster Bay by Sherwin Williams. I used it in our bedroom, along with the lighter shades of it in our bathroom and guest room. I had an almost-full gallon of it left, and thought… it would look realllllly good on our mudroom entry door. So I decided to paint it!

Originally, I was just going to paint the garage side of the door, but I loved how it looked and decided to do the inside side of the door… and then I went WILD (😂) and painted the trim. And I am so glad I did- I love it! Check it out:

I even painted the stripes on the K sign.

I painted everything that was white before!

I really love it for a couple of reasons. First, it makes the door look bigger, since the door and trim are all the same color. Second, the wall color, trim, and door are normally three separate colors, and this makes there be less separation between the wall and the door!

What do you think?
