I recently made a key hook/holder out of spare wood and some hooks we had laying around. It was so easy, I wanted to share with you in case you wanted to make a cheap key holder for your home!

I began with a 1×8 piece of wood that was about 18” in length. I ended up painting this green.

I got 4 hooks from a bag of random stuff in our workshop. They were all gold, so I decided to spray paint them black.

Can you tell I spray painted a plug outlet and a light switch outlet earlier? 🤣

I positioned the hooks on the board until I found a position I liked all of them in. I screwed them in with an electric screwdriver.

I added 4 small hooks for single keys. (This was for our cabin, and we had a lot of random keys) I screwed the board into the wall using 2” screws.

Check it out now!

The cool thing about making something like this is that you can customize it to fit your situation and what you need!
