If you’re a regular Hammertime reader, I’m sure you’ve read about how much I love using Dawn Platinum Foam for grease spot removal. I don’t know what it is that causes these grease spots, but it never fails that they end up on my girls’ favorite clothing items! I wanted to show you two cotton t-shirts that both came out of the laundry with these spots, and how I tried to get rid of them.

Here is shirt #1, before:

All you do is take your dry shirt and place a dot of Dawn foam on each grease spot. Use your finger to rub it into the spot. I let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Then, you will just wash the shirt like normal!

It’s not always perfect, but it if it doesn’t remove the spot completely, it has always made a HUGE difference and lessened how obvious these spots are.
