We have a little mud area on a wall in our house. I had updated it a couple of years ago, and decided to give it a facelift. Here it is before:

The wooden slats had settled and separated some, so I fixed that (see later blog about how I did that!) Also, the base of the mud area was looking rough. Literally. The wood the builders used was very rough, overall. Throw in the fact that we kick our shoes off here everyday, it’s safe to say the white bottom needed an update.

I got some Pewter Green paint from Sherwin Williams, and I went for it! Check it out now.
