This is a super easy project we did in our old house. Our coat closet had been a hot mess of jackets, shoes, and junk. There was wasted space between the floor of the closet and the spot where the jackets ended. The walls in the closet had all sorts of scuff marks from where the kids threw their shoes.

I decided to check out what we had in our house that we could use to update it. I found a good paint color that we had, and I found a wooden shelf we weren’t using. I purchased three fabric bins for about $6 total.
