If you recall, Stephen built an L-shaped bench for the cabin. He recently visited the cabin and installed the bench!
Here is the corner of the porch before:

I started painting the floor with floor paint. (More on that later!)

Stephen had built the two bench pieces separately so they would be easily portable to take to the cabin. Once there, he connected the two bench pieces using pre-done pocket hole screws.

Remember the table top Stephen made? He added that onto a piece of furniture we already had. You can see this piece of furniture better in the above picture. It was a perfect base for the table, so when people scoot around the bench, there aren’t table legs in the way!

He attached the table top using pocket hole screws, and put braces under the sides of the table top that stick out over the base. This will give additional support in case someone leans on the table too hard!
