My sister has a cabin next door to ours, up in the mountains of South Carolina. There’s not much to do up there (!), so we all have to create our own fun. Puzzles and games are a regular activity. My sister had wanted a smaller, thin table to do puzzles on… so she did a cool DIY table herself!

She went to Lowe’s and got two 8 foot pieces of 1×6 boards. She cut them in half and then wood-glued the pieces together. She clamped them and let them dry really well.

Then, she found some cute metal table legs on Amazon (like these) and screwed them in to the underneath side of the table!

Voila! A customized table for less than $40.
