We have drip lines in our flower beds that help to regularly water our plants. My husband noticed that one of our drip lines had a tear in it. The water was leaking out pretty significantly in that one spot. What to do??

Stephen did some research and found a way to fix it himself. Here is what he did:

**be sure to turn the water off before attempting this!

-He cut out a section of the line where the tear was using a sharp utility knife. (Be sure to make a clean cut)

-he purchased two couplings that fit the diameter of the original tubing. He also purchased a short piece of tubing with the same diameter.

-he attached one coupling on an end of the original line, and then connected the new piece of tubing in between the two couplings. If your connection distance isn’t too far, you can try using a coupling with a short connector tube already built in, like this.

-he then attached the second coupling to the other part of the original tube.

Now, it works perfectly! This was a very inexpensive fix that didn’t take a long amount of time.
