One easy update we did at our mountain cabin was painting a couple of tables. These 2 tables are old (!!) and really just needed to be refreshed. New paint = new look + a new, clean surface, so we used our Benjamin Moore Stratton Blue paint and got to work!

Before:

First step… CLEANING! I had to pull out the hand vac to get a good clean. We wiped both down really well, too.

We didn’t prime or anything… we put the paint directly on the tables.

My kiddos wanted to paint. They did a great job! It was fun having them want to participate.

I put some polyurethane on the tops of the tables to help protect them. Check them out now!

After:

A little bit of time and a little bit of paint, and now it’s like we have two brand new pieces of furniture!
